Samina Tannery (Pvt) Limited (STL) is a leading leather processing tannery in the leather export industry of Bangladesh. Established in 1987 by the visionary Managing Director, Md Abdus Samad, STL has been setting benchmarks in quality and innovation for over 36 years. Specializing in the processing of wet blue, crust, and finished leather for export, STL ensures top-tier quality and compliance with international standards. In its commitment to sustainability and upholding global standards in the leather industry, STL is actively pursuing the prestigious Leather Working Group (LWG) certification.

COUNTRY’S FIRST BSCI-AUDITED TANNERY

STL is proud to announce that it has successfully passed the amfori BSCI audit, making it the first BSCI-audited tannery in Bangladesh! This prestigious certification highlights STL's commitment to enhancing social performance in global supply chains, emphasizing ethical business practices, social responsibility, fair working conditions, and sustainability.

  • Hygiene is strictly maintained in all the corners of our premises, washroom, toilets, etc.
  • All the workers are trained for fire emergencies after being prepared through fire stimulation, evacuation map, etc.
